My computer is finally usable for everything I need to do. I was even able to get out 3 software releases (2 of them for the same package ...). I'm really liking this 17-inch LCD screen. I've got it back against the wall on my desk so that I can easily do homework assignments that are in PDF form. Due to this, however, I had to change my Emacs font so that I could see better. The terminus font is treating me well so far, especially with the oblique version also installed, and with 1 extra pixel of space between rows.

The cost of all this effort is that I will probably have to do schoolwork 24/7 until after next week, when all of my midterms are done. Transitioning from Real Work to schoolwork is so very painful.
