Jimmy tried to figure out what I find attractive in girls. He was able to list a few traits he likes, like long faces and noses, small mouth, and so on. I could not give him any similar explanation, so we spent a few hours at his bequest trying to figure out what my preferences are in terms of the face. I don't like trying to judge physical beauty, since it is quite meaningless IMHO, but I made an exception for tonight.

We did not make much progress since the only pages he knew of were girls in his class and girls who attend sororities. The Chemical Engineering girls did not strike my fancy, likewise the sorority girls. I did not know any of the supermodels he showed me, nor did I find any of them outstandingly attractive. I searched my computer, but I really do not have any good examples for him. I tried to show him some anime girls that I found attractive, but he said, "They're not real. You won't find anyone who actually looks like that. Their eyes are too big, ..." and so on. I guess I'll have to bring my Penn yearbook next time I visit my mother's house so I can give him a better idea. It is kind of funny the differnt traits that we like, and that we are taught by our culture to like.
