Upon reading Maison Ikkoku again

Thanks to this 3-week mini-vacation at my dad's house, I was able to read through Maison Ikkoku again. It's so satisfying to read a series straight through after collecting bits and pieces of it previously. This is one of the reasons that I far prefer manga to anime — it's much easier to re-enjoy.

Maison Ikkoku is probably my favorite manga series because of its humor. I like a series that can make me guess wrong on what is to come. I also like the ending — the last volume is kind to the main character, after having him go through so many troubles.

I have been very productive at my various programming pursuits these past few weeks. The environment here is good for that. Yet while it's always enjoyable to spend time with my dad and stepmother, I am definitely ready to move into my new apartment.
