I saw a FLCL episode on [adult swim] today. Hearing The Pillows again was delightful; they perform a majority of the music on that show. It brought back memories of that anime convention from a few weeks ago, where I saw this group perform in Chicago.

It's funny that the only live performance that I've seen in nearly two years was a J-Pop band that did music for an anime series. Unless you count chapel at Bethel, but I don't.

Watching The Simpsons is about the nearest that American culture can come to the joy of anime.
