Rest of Purdue Anime Club line-up

This time when I went to a PAC meeting, I was able to see the last 4 series that I had missed last time, plus one new series that is being shown in alternating weeks. I didn't miss much.

Shakugan no Shana
A high school kid finds out that his soul has been eaten, and hence he isn't human anymore. A rather strange premise ... this one is probably ignorable. This is the one that wasn't shown last time.
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
How to describe this ... hmm. The narrator (a high school boy) talks of one of his classmates, a girl who wishes that sci-fi films were real, and wants nothing to do with normal people. They form a school club of some sort, and hilarity ensues. I'll watch it.
Speed Grapher
A photographer investigates some cult of the ultra-wealthy that uses gene modification to create a goddess. This one is definitely skip-able, not to mention rather sick and morbid. A favorite saying of one of the characters is that people's lives can be bought.
Noein - to your other self
Time traveling with plenty of confusing bits of terminology. It seems a bit too disjointed for my taste.
Ergo Proxy
Futuristic sci-fi drama of some sort involving humans and androids. Plenty of disregard for human life and violence. Not worth watching. Looks like I can leave early! Amusingly, it uses a Radiohead song for its closing credits.
