Since my old '90 Honda Accord started leaking gas, my dad bought me a '92 Pontiac Grand Am, for which I will pay half of the cost, when I have money again.
I miss my Honda already; there's so many good memories involved with it. Spending most of my summer earnings last year to replace the tires. Passengers asking me how to use the nearly-detached door handle. Trips with friends to Cici's Pizza after PLUG meetings. Shouting along to MXPX lyrics, courtesy of my laptop, an external sound card, a cassette adapter, and a semi-working sound system that I put $140 into. Experiencing the (N-1)th crisis of taste when I tried to decide if I still liked the sound of Joy Electric [their older stuff is wearing on me a bit, but I still enjoy their newer albums]. Trying to find the 'C' key to pause the music and being too lazy to ever program the 'SPACE' key for that purpose. Watching the flexible sun shield droop on the passenger side because of the lack of a visor.
I just applied to the Google Summer of Code initiative, with this Hello-C project. My odds are 5% or lower, so I tried to provide a somewhat creative application, mentioning my accepted definition of procrastination from http://sacha.free.net.ph/notebook/wiki/2005.04.05.php#1.
"Procrastination is simply the ability to choose what I'd like to work on today, knowing that I can work on other things tomorrow or the next day or the day after that."
