Nearby bookstore

I forgot to make my lunch in advance, so I decided to see how long it would take for me to walk to Taco Bell. The walk wasn't too long, but the line inside was. Next time, I shall have to try one of the other restaurants, or just save my money and make my lunch ahead of time.

On the way there, I noticed some books on display near the street. On the way back, I decided to investigate. It was a local bookstore that was packed with titles. I've never seen so many books per cubic foot of space. It gives a nice feeling when browsing, even though the aisles are a tad claustrophobic.

The science fiction section of the library was superb. One of the s.f. authors that I've wanted to try out is Robert A. Heinlein, and I was able to find a nice anthology of some of his fantasy novelettes.

To add to the atmosphere, a middle-aged guy was at the counter. He gave me a 10% discount for no apparent reason and was able to tell me where the manga and comics are stored. They have a basement that carries these items — unfortunately I was too short on time to check it out. Perhaps I'll try again on Wednesday.

While I'm here, two words: La Bombas!
