I started up my computer, put my headphones on, and was astonished to hear my music continue from exactly where I had left it last night, even the seek position of the current song! I had added MusicPD to my startup, and it was able to figure out the state of my last music choice. Very cool. It's available for Windows and Mac OS as well as GNU/Linux.

This is my last day at my dad's house for a while; after that I have to pack stuff for school. As a result, I'll probably be off-line until Wednesday of next week (that is, until my room at Hilltop Apartments gets internet-connected).

I'm starting to get into house, trance, and techno by listening to some internet radio stations. Good stuff, so far. PLUG also has an internet radio station now, with several feeds. Currently, we've got the following.

• Video game music remixes (1500 songs, randomly chosen).
• Speeches from Richard Stallman, Bradley Kuhn, and Eben Moglen.
• Miscellaneous freely available and sampleable music.
