For the first time since I transferred to Purdue, I attempted to find some Fiction books in the on-campus Undergraduate Library. I felt a bit awkward looking through the children's literature area for Lloyd Alexander's Prydain Chronicles.
The real surprise came when I looked for some books by Isaac Asimov. I found a room on a lower floor that contains (probably) all of the Fiction in the place. I love the design of this room — books are along the walls in shelves, and there is a large open area for presentations, complete with comfortable chairs.
I am currently making my way through A Treasury of Great Science Fuction, Volume One, Ed. Anthony Boucher, published in 1959. Sheer bliss. Topics covered so far:
This also marks my first encounter with a Robert A. Heinlein work.
