Since the Muse release on Wednesday, things have been hectic! I've been fielding a lot of positive email messages from it, which I like. I'm extremely grateful to Yann Hodique for his help with keeping Planner up-to-date and hacking wiki functionality into Muse. Talk about brave! I balked at doing anything wiki-related with Muse for more than 7 months :^P .
I still haven't heard back from the Google Summer of Code thing. I can understand the delay, though, since they had to deal with so many applications. Money would be nice to have. Curtailing spending is (for me) doable, since I have family to support me, but it's not optimal.
I think I'm finally getting to the point where I feel like an able maintainer when it comes to Emacs Lisp stuff. This was my greatest expectation for the summer: to make a huge leap forward in all things programming. Last summer the focus was on Emacs, where I went from tentatively browsing through http://www.emacswiki.org/ to maintaining my first program that people actually use (emacs-wiki).
