When I went to Meijer last night, I saw some Asian Chicken and
Vegetables in the deli section. Served with some Lipton Chicken Fried
Rice, the result was fabulous.

Ingredients
- 1 packet Lipton Chicken Fried Rice
- 3/4 lb of pre-prepared Asian Chicken and Vegetables
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
Directions
- Prepare Lipton Chicken Fried Rice according to directions on
package.
- Microwave the Asian Chicken and Vegetables for about 1 minute on
high.
- Serve rice alongside of the chicken on plate. Garnish with soy
sauce.

For that matter you could make your own Chicken Fried Rice as well. It's really one of those recipies that you can "make up" as you go each time.If you have a rice maker at least it's super easy.
4-6 maybe of white rice, somewhat drier than usual doesn't matter if it's hot
1 chicken breast (or pork, whatever)
2-3 green onions
1 c or so peas and carrots cooked or whatever else you want in (maybe mushrooms or something)
1 egg
3-6 T soy sauce
dash of white pepper
2 t oil
Basically, brown you meat if it's not cooked already, throw in the green onions with 1 t of oil for a minute or two until it starts to smell real nice. Then I usually throw in the other vegetables for a min or so, throw in the rice. Mix it up a bit, and shift it to one side (if you don't have a wok). Put the other 1 t of oil in keeping it on the free side and throw it the egg (partially beaten). Let it get close to being solid and then kind of scramble it into little pieces. Once it's cooked mix it altogether, throw in 3 t soy sauce and a dash of white pepper, mix it until its evenly spread and you are done.
One of those recipies you do a bit different every time I think.
Seems easy to me but after typing it all out I guess it's quite a bit more work ;)

Son,I warms my heart that it appears you're eating reasonably well, albeit in the ad hoc style of an overtasked and pene-impoverished University student. ;-)
Are you planning to come home one of these weekends? Next weekend would work out great. We might even order a pizza, watch a movie, etc.

I've never heard of Lipton Chicken Fried Rice. Maybe it's only available in the U.S... does anybody know? It kind of sounds like it should involve tea in some way. If you're interested I have also found some easy chicken recipes at Chicken-Recipes-Now.com you might want to check out.Add a comment
